The property was listed by Gold Coast-based Chinese billionaire Riyu Li in January. It is currently on the market for $50 million AUD. The house was built on a 49-hectare (130-acre) estate, which was purchased for $7 million in 2006. During his ownership, Mr Li had plans to build a resort. However, Gold Coast City Council rejected the plan.
